To get you started, we provide a foundations curriculum. This is taught over two, hour-long sessions run over two subsequent days. These classes allow you to learn about CrossFit and if it’s a fit for you. We will discuss the CrossFit Manassas program, what you can expect out of the program, and cover any specific questions you might have about getting started.
Our emphasis during these classes is on skill development and exposure to basic movements. They are designed to prepare you to enter our group classes. We will be focusing on technique, to ensure your safety and success at the next level. We will introduce you to technique and mechanics first, then intensity. Then, we will teach you movements that are fairly basic as we progress to the more advanced movements.
There will be a workout at the end of each class. This workout will help to assess your physical fitness and allow you to check out our coaching techniques. We run the Foundations classes at the following times:
Intro I – Saturdays at 9am
Intro II – Sundays at 10am
For $19.99 you are entitled to the two Foundations classes and one regularly scheduled Group class. The group class is a great way for you to experience the great community here, as well as how a class functions.
Monday – Thursday 11am – 9pm
Friday 11am – 8pm
Saturday 9am – 2pm
Sunday 10am – 1pm
